Lunahuana becomes the perfect place for those who are looking for the perfect nature spot south from Lima(2.5Hrs), adventure sports and a unique gastronomy.

Lunahuana is a valley with the most beautiful river and sun every day of the year.

It’s the ideal place to travel and practice fun activities and sports such as rafting, canopy over the river, horse rides, visit Inca ruins (Inkawasi) and visit Pisco and wine wineries.

In Lunahuana, the hotel La Confianza is a ecologic hotel with a collection of nice and picturesque cottages/bungalows built on a very ancient Vineyard and its winery built on 1908, La Confianza on the district of Catapalla, Lunahuaná.

La Confianza was a winery with more than a century of age and it maintains much of its original architecture like its beautiful façade and its main salon where the wine and pisco was bottled, Today it is our lobby and bar. The walls are made of clay and dry plants, material very popular in the region.

It is known that Mr Queirolo (owner of the distinguish Queirolo Pisco) came on those years to this winery to buy our Pisco and then bottled with their name.

Also, La Confianza is located very near where the last battle between Peruvian and Chilean regiment took place before Chileans backed to the coast.
On the back of La Confianza existed a Inca Ceremonial Centre, you can take a walk and see some traces of it. La Confianza is peace, food and Pisco in the same space.

For more information visit Hotel La Confianza and take a look with more photos.

To reach Lunahuaná from Lima, we must start from the Panamericana Sur highway almost a half hour, you reach Cañete. From here take the left turn at Km 144 of the Panamericana Sur road, leading to Imperial – Lunahuaná – Yauyos.

CLIMATE:
Temperate and warm. Sunny almost all year and eternal spring. The average temperature is 16ºC in winter and 26ºC in summer.

The Hotel La Confianza -Lunahuana is sourounded with the magic of the nature
