Located on the Pacific coast of South America, the country stretches over 4800 kilometers of coastline, but no more than 180 kilometers wide and the Cordillera de los Andes in isolation from its neighbors: Argentina, Bolivia and Peru .Chile is one of the most developed countries of the continent. The country is divided into twelve administrative regions, in addition to the Metropolitan Region of Santiago. Each region has its individual activities and attractions. San Pedro de Atacama and Torres del Paine is probably the best known and most visited destinations near Easter Island in the Pacific, but there are also many other places that are becoming more frequent. In the IV Region of Coquimbo, with perfect weather, the city of La Serena and Coquimbo Port is the ideal place for those traveling north. Here, the Elqui Valley attracts people interested in astronomy, since it has one of the clearest skies on the planet.
